Jasmine (Yasmin) Van Deventer is a Franco-American actress of Iranian origins, based between Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles. She grew up in California, where she did a bunch of theatre as a kid. In addition to acting, she studied Francophone and Martinican dramatic literature in France, Haïti and Martinique. She then founded and ran a non-profit called Singa in Montréal - focused on creating synergies around shared passions and projects in the arts between refugees who fled their home countries to Québec and other locals.
